District Collector Md Imtiaz on Sunday said that a teleconference was held with Election Returning Officers EROs and other officials of 16 constituencies about the voters list and said the final voters list will be prepared with corrections by March 6
Vijayawada: District Collector Md Imtiaz on Sunday said that a teleconference was held with Election Returning Officers (EROs) and other officials of 16 constituencies about the voters list and said the final voters list will be prepared with corrections by March 6.
He said that the EROs will complete voter enrolment process, root mapping, voter enrolment to differently abled, and awareness on EVMs and other election related programmes soon.
The voter enrolment officers will submit the list of enrolments and voter deletions held on February 23 and 24 and added that if more than 0.1 per cent voters are to be deleted, that list will be sent to the state electoral officer through district electoral officer before deleting the voter names from the list.
The Collector further said that the elections should be held in a democratic manner and the officials should prepare the voters list carefully.
