Srikakulam tops in e-governance
Joint Collector JC KVN Chakradhara Babu on Wednesday received best award in egovernance from Union Minister for State for Atomic Energy Dr Jitendra Singh at a programme held at Ambedkar International centre in New Delhi
Srikakulam: Joint Collector (JC) KVN Chakradhara Babu on Wednesday received best award in e-governance from Union Minister for State for Atomic Energy Dr Jitendra Singh at a programme held at Ambedkar International centre in New Delhi.
In total, 700 entries registered with the national level committee from across the country and a committee with 15 secretary cadre officials screened them in four stages and selected 17 entries of them entry from Srikakulam district selected for gold medal.
The gold medal presented to Chakradhara Babu for his transparent, quick and accurate work in settling rehabilitation and resettlement package for Kovvada nuclear power plant project evacuees which has been pending since 1991. The JC adopted advanced technology in identifying lands and structures and made payments through online mode by preventing irregularities.
