Chintur: An interstate coordination meet of police officers of AP, Telangana and Chhattisgarh for the smooth conduct of general elections was organised at Bhadrachalam on Thursday.

According to Chintur DSP Dilip Kiran, the meet was convened by Eluru Range DIG Dr CM Trivikrama Varna and hosted by East Godavari police.

The meet discussed various aspects connected for the smooth conduct of forthcoming elections in the three neighbouring states (for Lok Sabha in Telangana and Chhattisgarh and for both Assembly and Lok Sabha in AP)

Those who attended the meet include IG Warangal Y Nagy Reddy, Eluru range DIG Trivikrama Varma, SP East Godavari Vishal Gunni , SP Bhupalapalli (TS) R Bhaskaran, SP Bhadradri Kothagudem (TS) Sunil Dutt, SP Sukma.

Jitendra Sukla, additional SP Chintur, Amit Bardar and officers from CROF and others attended.
