Eluru: In-charge Collector M Venugopal Reddy called upon the videographers to discharge their election duty without showing partiality to any political group or candidate.

He convened a meeting with videographers in the district to be selected for discharging election duties in the ensuing Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

He said that as part of conducting the elections, 50 flying squads and 50 surveillance teams apart from 20 observers would work during elections.

Videographers would also accompany them at different places in the district, he informed.

He also reviewed with officials on the remuneration to be paid to the videographers for extending their services.

The in-charge Collector also announced that training classes would be conducted for the videographers to create awareness among them on the election code of conduct and other election guidelines.
