Rajamahendravaram: Loksatta Udyama Samsta (LUS) convener MV Raj Gopal has demanded for a judicial inquiry into the controversial AP data theft issue to bring the facts into limelight immediately.

Speaking to reporters at Press Club here on Thursday, he said the judicial probe should be conducted with a sitting judge of Apex Court which is the need of the hour.

The people in Andhra Pradesh are panicked whether their votes are safe are not. Apex Court in the year 2017 gave a judgement stating that the details of an individual in the country are fundamental right, he said.

How can the government pass the personal data of people to a private company, he questioned and said it is nothing but to deceive the people.

Loksatta Udyama Samsta will fight against this issue until the government brings facts in this issue.
