Toyota Etios Xclusive edition launched . Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) has launched a special edition of Etios sedan christened as ‘Xclusive’. The new variant is available at the price tag of INR 7.82 lac for petrol while the diesel variant is priced at INR 8.92 lakh.

To add some freshness to the sedan before the festive season, this limited edition Etios Xclusive has been launched to attract maximum buyers. The new special edition will get various updates on the outside as well as inside while the best part of the car is the addition of the Smart Link touchscreen infotainment system.
The vehicle will take on the likes they are Chevrolet Sail sedan, Ford Classic and Fiat Linea. The Etios Xclusive gets various new updates, the external looks is almost similar to the present model. While the changes includes the window visors, chrome details on the wing mirrors, 12-15 inch alloy wheels and electrically adjustable ORVMs with chrome inserts.
The car also gets the Blue Metallic color with the ‘Xclusive’ badging on it. The rear parking sensors are carried forward from the regular Etios. Mechanically, the new Toyota Etios Xclusive gets the power from the similar 1.4-litre diesel mill that comes with four-cylinder and eight-valves.
The engine can churn out maximum power output of 67.04 bhp at 3800 rpm and peak torque of 170Nm between 1800-2400 rpm. While on the other hand, the 1.5 litre petrol motor with DOHC and 4-cylinder and 16 valves, is able to deliver the output of 88.73 bhp at 5600 rpm and top torque of 132Nm at the range of 3000rpm.
Both the engines come mated to advanced 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. N Raja, director and senior vice president, sales and marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd speaking on the launch said that they are delighted to launch the new Etios Xclusive in the market. It’s their continuous effort to upgrade the offers in line with the most challenging market and the changing lifestyles of the customers.
He also added that the company is thankful to the customers for the overwhelming response and the strong faith in the brand for so many years. The company understands that the safety is the most important feature in the vehicle and has the belief that the improvement should never be confined to technology in the products, so the Etios will continue to give the importance to the passenger safety.
