Design-wise, new Superb exudes sportier character. The front of the car now carries Skoda’s new design language, which is already seen on the Octavia and Yeti in India. On the inside, the dashboard is done in dual tone colour of black and beige. It is also available in all-black, depending on the variant you opt for. Centre console is equipped with a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is powered by VW MIB. This system is compatible with MirrorLink, Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. The music system is in the form of 610 Watts with 12 speakers from Canton.

Upholstery is done in premium leather with extra attention paid to rear passenger comfort. Compared to the old Superb, new Superb delivers more legroom and headroom. Engine option is in the form of a 1.8-liter TSI petrol and a 2.0-liter TDI diesel unit. Both engines will be mated to a 7 speed DSG gearbox, powering the front wheels.

Expected to be priced in the range of INR 25 lakh, 2016 Skoda Superb will compete with Toyota Camry and upcoming Honda Accord, VW Passat in India. More details will be revealed once the car is launched.
