While all the concepts are pretty interesting, the Jeep Renegade Commander stands out. The compact crossover is kitted up with a range of Mopar and Jeep performance parts for enhanced off-road capability.
The Renegade Commander features a 2-inch lift-kit, 17-inch Rubicon alloy wheels and 29.5-inch high-profile BF-Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tyres. Visually, the off-road concept sports Fluorescent Grey exterior color, MySky open-air roof removable panels, Mopar off road rock rails on lower part of the doors, custom body decals, skid plate and a custom exhaust.
Interiors of the functional concept is kitted with Katzkin seat covers, Mopar off-road kit, Mopar all-weather floor mats, pedal kit and body color bezel accents.
Powering the Jeep Renegade Commander is a 2.4-litre Tigershark petrol engine with MultiAir2 technology. The engine is paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission which drives all the four wheels via Jeep Active Drive Low 4×4 system.
This year’s Easter Jeep Safari will also witness the showcasing of six other concepts – Jeep Crew Chief 715, Jeep Shortcut, Jeep Comanche, Jeep FC 150, Jeep Trailcat and Jeep Trailstorm.
