A peek into Honda BR-V Modulo at Bangkok Motor Show 2016
Honda BR-V crossover India launch is in Q2 2016.New Honda BR-V crossover was first showcased last year at the 2015 Indonesia Motor Show. Later, it has been showcased at the 2015 Thai Motor Expo in December 2015, and at the 2016 Auto Expo in India last month. Now the car has made its debut at the largest motor show in Thailand – 2016 Bangkok Motor Show in both standard as well as Modulo kit.

Modulo kit on board the BR-V gives the crossover a sporty avatar. The kit includes meatier bumpers, silver accents on the outiside, dual tone alloys, chrome door handles, chrome inserts on wing-mirrors, rear roof spoiler, chrome exhaust tip, etc.
Honda BR-V is a seven-seat crossover which is based on the Brio platform. This is the same platform which forms the basis of Brio hatchback, Brio sedan (aka Amaze), and Brio MPV (Mobilio).
To be launched in India by June 2016, Honda BR-V crossover will be offered with a choice of petrol and diesel engine options. Petrol engine will be in the form of 1.5 liter iVTEC mill which delivers 118 PS and a diesel 1.5 liter iDTEC motor which delivers 100 PS. Transmission options on offer include CVT as well as manual transmission.
Honda BR-V is built on new ‘XCiting H Design’ philosophy, which was first showcased on-board the Vision XS-1 concept. On the outside, it gets chrome grille in the front, projector headlamps, fog lights, skid plate, plastic cladding on the underbody, muscular wheel-arches, 16 inch machined alloys, roof rails. Rear design features floating roof spoiler effect, windscreen wiper, new taillight design with a strip running across the tailgate, chrome slat above license plate and a skid plate.
On the inside, Honda BR-V gets similar layout as that of the new Honda Amaze. The new dashboard is inspired from Honda City’s dashboard. It features three-spoke steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system LCD display for AC, instrument control featuring speedometer, tachometer and MID.
