Bentley has launched the Bentayga in India at Rs 3.85 crore (ex-showroom Delhi). Labelled the world’s most luxurious and the fastest SUV, it is the first crossover from the British carmaker.

Bentley has launched the Bentayga in India at Rs 3.85 crore (ex-showroom Delhi). Labelled the world’s most luxurious and the fastest SUV, it is the first crossover from the British carmaker.
The Bentayga is powered by Bentley’s 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 that churns out 600bhp and a massive 900Nm of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed ZF gearbox through which the power is distributed to all four wheels.
The exterior design of the Bentayga bears strong resemblance to other cars from their stable. At the front, the Bentley gets the ‘Winged B’ logo, massive grille and round LED headlamps. The side profile resembles that of a raised Flying Spur sitting on massive 22-inch alloys while the rear is quite conventional thanks to the stock lamps and chrome strip at the base of the bootlid.
The cabin is very similar to other Bentleys - namely the Continental GT and the rest of the car is highly customisable as well. It gets diamond-quilted seats with 22-way adjustment, bright mineral glass for the infotainment system screen and a full leather dash.
