BMW marks 30 years of the M3 in celebration of which the company presents BMW M3 ’30 Jahre’ Edition.BMW M3 ’30 Jahre’ Edition is launched in the UK and is being presented in an exclusive color of Frozen Silver metallic.

Interiors follow a similar theme with added detailing on head rest, instrument cluster, Alcantara steering wheel and door sills.

A distinctive plaque “30 Jahre M3”, marking this unique edition is displayed on the carbon fiber strip on the dashboard. The car sits on 20 inch wheels fitted with 265/30 tyres at the front and 285/30 at the rear.

Pricing of the new BMW M3 ’30 Jahre’ Edition has also been released. Limited to just 30 units, it is being priced at £82,675 ($120,840 / INR 81,24,067) in the UK.

BMW M3 ’30 Jahre’ Edition is powered by the same engine seen on the M3 Competition Package, tweaked to offer an additional 19hp taking it upto 444 hp. The engine is mated to a 7 speed dual clutch automatic transmission sending power to rear wheels. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 4.0 seconds while top speed sees no change and continues to stand at 250 kmph.

Official launch of the new BMW M3 ’30 Jahre’ Edition is pegged for mid 2016 in order to coincide with the signing of the first M3 sales contract 30 years ago.
