With 2016 EICMA (Milan Motorcycle Show) scheduled to take place in November, it is very likely that Suzuki will make global debut of their new Gixxer 250 at the show, which is also the largest motorcycle show in the planet.

Design inspired from the bigger bikes in the Suzuki family, the Gixxer 250 is expected to get a single cylinder 250 cc liquid cooled engine which will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Patent images reveal that Gixxer 250 does not have upside down forks, or ABS (for the entry level variant).

Absence of such features will help Suzuki to price the Gixxer 250 at a very attractive price, especially the base variant. This will help the company make it viable for India as well, where demand for bikes in the 250-400 cc segment is on the rise.

Other interesting features on offer with Gixxer 250 are, full fairing giving it a sporty look, large headlamp cluster inspired from Hayabusa, single exhaust with twin aperture, digital instrument console, 17 inch alloys, Michelin tyres, split seats, LED lights (taillights, side blinkers and DRL).
