Destined to a Japanese collector who is very fond of artistic Italian automobiles, this MV Agusta F4Z by Zagato is a one-off motorcycle with a heavy dose of emotions drawn from the world of four wheelers.

If you are a fan of Zagato, one quick glimpse of this idiosyncratic two wheeler art is all you need to recognize its origin. The smooth flowing bodywork, non-conformist styling and the undeniable elegance point straight towards the famed Milanese coach builder.

The bodywork has been designed and engineered by the coach builder. The entirely different design meant that a lot of components like fuel tank, battery, exhaust, intake manifold, had to be re-engineered, relocated or replaced.

The bodywork is made of advanced materials such as aluminium and carbon fibre. The cantilevered seat with integrated stopper is upholstered in red leather. For Zagato, the F4Z is a demonstration of its capabilities when it comes to two wheelers as well and for MV Agusta it is a totally different attempt at customization as well as a great brand building exercise.

Under the skin is a very much functional MV Agusta F4 hardware but the F4Z is a sort of a thing that will spend most of its lifetime adorning its owner’s living room. That said, we do hope he takes it out on a regular basis for the benefit of beholders like us.
