Real estate consulting firm CBRE South Asia Pvt Ltd on Monday expanded its operations in the city by launching a new premises. Telangana IT & Industries Minister K T Rama Rao inaugurated the new premises which will enable the multinational company to increase its headcount in the city.

Hyderabad: Real estate consulting firm CBRE South Asia Pvt Ltd on Monday expanded its operations in the city by launching a new premises. Telangana IT & Industries Minister K T Rama Rao inaugurated the new premises which will enable the multinational company to increase its headcount in the city.

At present, CBRE has over 700 professionals working for it across office, retail, project management and asset services. Over the next two years, CBRE aims to double its employee strength to enhance its services to developers, occupiers, investors and end-users.

“CBRE has recognized the potential of the city and is focused on strengthening its footprint here. I extend the support of the government to CBRE to take strong steps in further strengthening the State of Telangana as a preferred destination for business and employment. We should jointly strategize in attracting more corporates,” the IT Minister said after the inauguration.

Anshuman Magazine, Chairman, India & South East Asia, CBRE, described Hyderabad as South India’s realty hotspot. “Political stability, the state government’s proactive policies, growing occupier demand, improved infrastructure, quality educational institutions and the availability of a large talent pool have helped bring back attention to the city’s real estate market,” he said.

Understanding this growing opportunity, we have expanded our presence in the city to provide enhanced services for all our existing and potential clients, he added. Apart from a robust commercial and industrial landscape, the city’s retail segment has also witnessed enhanced activity off late with organized retail stock to touch 10 million sq ft by 2019, he said.
