Hyderabad: Nrupender Rao, founder and chairman of the Rs 2000 crore revenue Pennar Industries Ltd, received the 'Life Time Achievement Award' of the Hyderabad Management Association for the year 2017. The award was presented by Justice ChallaKodanda Ram, Judge, High Court of Telangana at a function held at KLN Prasad Auditorium, FTAPCCI, Hyderabad on Thursday.
Rao, 73 is the alumni of IIT Kharagpur and also had a master's degree in operations research and industrial engineering from Purdue University, USA. He has forty years of experience in various disciplines of organisations like National Cash Register, USA, Union Carbide India, Nagarjuna Steels Ltd and Pennar Industries Limited.
