Tirumala: Arrangements are being made for Lord Venkateswara’s ‘Brahmotsavam’ beginning here on October 5. The TTD is holding an important meeting concerning Brahmotsavam arrangements here on August 27. Barricades are being erected in the streets by TTD security staff to ensure safety of devotees. All wings of the TTD are engaged in executing Brahmotsavam-related works. Employees of the electricity department are involved in making arrangements for lighting, which has always been central to the high-profile ritual.
