Remember his okkadu with Mahesh Babu which made the actor a superstar? The latest buzz doing the rounds in filmnagar circles is that the film is being remade in Hindi. And guess who's playing the female lead? None other than the Bengali beauty Sonakshi Sinha who's done many films in the action-romantic genre. The original had Bhumika playing as the female lead.
We hear the film will be produced by Sri Devi's husband, Boney Kapoor which will see his son Arjun Kapoor playing Mahesh's role.
Now, we all know that the entire movie was shot in the backdrop of the Charminar, a landmark of Hyderabad. It remains to be seen which monument in Mumbai will be chosen for the Hindi remake.
