Denikaina Ready: Vishnu Manchu wins Case, Case About Manchu Vishnu's Denikaina Ready. In a big relief to the actor, a division bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court in Hyderabad admitted his appeal saying there was no need to deleted two scenes.
Vishnu Manchu is a relieved man. Remember how his movie Denikaina Ready had run into trouble with some objectionable content. Brahmin groups had carried out protests and agitations asking for some scenes to be removed as they alleged that they hurt the sentiments of their community.
In a big relief to the actor, a division bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court in Hyderabad admitted his appeal saying there was no need to deleted two scenes.
It may be recalled that some AP Brahmin organisations had filed petitions seeking a ban on the movie for offending Hindu sentiments. A judge after watching the film had asked for two objectionable scenes to be removed from the movie.
However, producer-actor Vishnu Manchu had appealed against the order.
Now, with the court's verdict in his favour, film-makers are a relieved lot as their freedom of expression is allowed.
