Star celebrity couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor will be shifting to a four floor apartment in Bandra worth a whopping Rs 48 crore. Saif has bought four floors of a building opposite his present residence, Fortune Heights, in Bandra. Each floor of that apartment has 3BHK and measures 3,000 sq feet. The cost of each flat is around Rs.12 crore, which sums up to 48 crore.
Apparently, Saif and Kareena have been living in their Bandra apartment for many years and now feel the need for a bigger space. Saif had always wanted a terrace-garden on one floor, a swimming pool on another and gym in another.
The new house will reportedly be designed by celebrity designer Nozer Wadia who has designed homes for Amitabh Bachchan, Gautam Singhania and Arjun Rampal.
One of the four apartments will be ready by mid 2014 and the couple plans to shift and give their current residence on rent.
