Nagarjuna Bowled Over By Mysore

The shooting of the Akkineni multi-starrer family movie Manam is progressing at a brisk pace. The film unit is currently at Mysore shooting at all the nearby scenic locales.

A little birdie tells us that the movie has been canned at KRS backwaters, Melkote and the beautiful Lalit Mahal palace in Mysore.

Nag who has visited the city several times is believed to have said that he can't have enough of the city. The actor especially likes shooting in Melkote. In between shoots, Nag also took time off to visit tourist destinations in Mysore including Brindavan Gardens and Chamundi Hills. However, the actor feels the Brindavan Gardens is more a commercial spot now.

Nag and his film crew are also trying different cuisines in the city.

Manam stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya. Shriya Saran and Samantha play the leading ladies in the film. Although the Akkinenis rubbished the rumours of Akhil making his entry into films with Manam, an over enthusiastic Samantha spilled the beans on the social media that Akhil was very much a part of the movie indeed! Vikram Kumar is directing the film for which music is being scored by Anoop Rubens.

The movie is scheduled to hit the screens sometime mid next year.Till then watch this space for all the updates.
