Akkineni Nageshwara Rao stable: Nagarjuna, Sumanth

Akkineni fans woke up to a shocking news on Wednesday that Veteran actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao's health was critical. This bit of news created sensation and many TV channels reported it too creating panic among fans.

It's a known fact that Akkineni senior announced that he was battling with cancer sometime back which shocked the film fraternity and fans alike. This perhaps is leading to all the rumours of Nageshwara Rao's ill health.

Akkineni family members however, rubbished the reports. Actors Nagarjuna and Sumanth cleared the air.

While Nagarjuna asked fans not to believe rumours as his father's health was stable. Akkineni's grandson and actor Sumanth took to twitter to slam reports. On his page, Sumanth tweeted: "A rumour seems to be floating around that my grandfather is critical. It's not true! #ANR is doing alright! Thanks for your concern."

The rumor gained momentum as Akkineni Nageswar Rao is suffering from cancer. ‘When I was hospitalized with stomach pain on 8th October, doctors have detected the initial stage cancer cells in my body. After performing some tests it was confirmed that I’m fighting cancer," the senior actor had said in his statement earlier.
