The most famous Tollywood comedian, Brahmanandam Kanneganti celebrates his 58th birthday on Saturday. Originally hailing from Sattenapalli in Andhra Pradesh, he mostly acts in Telugu films.
Before joining the film fraternity, he was a Telugu lecturer in Attili, a town in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Brahmanandam holds the Guinness World Record for the most screen credits for a living actor. Apparently, h acted in more than 1000 films.
In 2009, Brahmanandam was honoured with the Padma Sri, India's fourth highest civilian honour for his contribution to Indian cinema. Brahmanandam is considered one of the most versatile Indian comic actors, noted particularly for his comic expressions.
Brahmanandam has been virtually entertaining all the audience around India through the Telugu dubbed Hindi movies.
