The film which has had many dates announced for its release, but has been continuously postponed due to various reasons. However the film has reportedly “crossed all hurdles”, and is finally ready for release.
Debutante actor Sai Dharam Tej will soon see his first release, ‘Rey’, on May 9. The film which has had many dates announced for its release, but has been continuously postponed due to various reasons. However the film has reportedly “crossed all hurdles”, and is finally ready for release.
Producer and director of the film, YVS Chowdary said, “We have announced this date keeping in mind our target audience – the youth. By May their exams would have finished, and this will be a convenient time to release the film.”

He added, “Also elections would have concluded in both the regions (Telangana and Seemandhra). The atmosphere would be peaceful and the audience can come and watch in peace.”
The film which has been shot in West Indies and USA wasn’t a cake walk, said the director. “The problems we faced are beyond explanation. But I am confident that the film will be worth it,” he said.
‘Rey’ also stars Shraddha Das and Saiyami Kher. Chakri has scored the music.
