Dad should write a film like Aashiqui 2 for me

Two-film old Alia Bhatt, who is craving to be directed by her father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, is hopeful that one day he will write a script for her and direct her too.

Asked when her dad would direct her, she said, “Even I have that question…it will happen for sure. It will happen at the right time.”

“It will have to be a film like ‘Aashiqui 2’, which will be remembered. I have tried to convince him many times… he will write for me for sure,” she added.

She says he is possessive about her, but adds that he has taken her on-screen kissing with Arjun Kapoor in the forthcoming film ‘2 States’ practically.

"Like every father, who doesn’t want his daughters to get married, my father is the same,” Alia said.

She added, “Recently, my father told us (Alia and her sister Shaheen) you all can’t go anywhere, I will lock you up in a room. He is honest and blunt about the fact that he doesn't want us to get married.”

“He is not saying just like that, he means it. He is very possessive and doesn't want me to get married. If my sister’s boyfriends get me some present, he would say - even I can get presents, I will get you two," she added.
