Srinivas Avasarala's directional debut ‘Oohalu Gusagusalade’ starring Naga Shourya and Rashi Khanna saw its audio launch in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Director of the film Srinivas Avasarala said, “Though I entered the industry as an actor, I always had plans of directing a movie. I am happy that I got a producer like Sai Korrapati for my first movie itself. He is a very committed producer. There is a role in this film that I play… I initially decided to cast someone else but it was Sai garu who convinced me to do it.”
He also mentioned that Naga Shourya was selected for the lead role after he responded to a casting call on a leading Telugu cinema website. “As soon as we saw him, we knew he was the correct choice,” he said.
Lead actress Rashi Khanna said, “I play the role of Prabhavati in the movie.”
The film is being produced by Sai Korrapati and the music has been scored by Kalyani Koduri.
SS Rajamouli, VV Vinayak, Boyapati Srinu, Allari Naresh, Nani, Mohan Krishna Indraganti, Nandini Reddy, D Suresh Babu, Gemini Kiran and Gunnam Gangaraju graced the event.
