Ukarainian must adapt to Indian reality shows: Madhuri

Madhuri Dixit has definitely been successful in her second stint too-in the World of Glitz and Glamour. There has been no looking back for this beautiful “Diva.” Madhuri is all set to allure the audiences on the idiot box with her Western look while judging the contestants of Jhalak Dikhla Ja this new season.

Madhuri Dixit is very excited about her latest electrifying “Western colorful outfits-” That she will be wearing in Jhalak Dikhla Ja.” For the first time I will adorn Western attire” it is just to give a refreshing feel to all my fans as well as the audiences. I will be attired in dark colored dresses as well! Indeed I have always worn Indian attire and have felt great wearing them as well wearing the “Lehangas’ do give me an entire dressed kind of a feel. Undoubtedly, I am happy with this fresh “Western look of mine.”

Ask her what is more comfortable Indian or Western dresses? Pat comes the reply,” I am able to carry both very comfortably. Whether Indian or Western I do wear both even in my real life. Therefore needless to say that I am comfortable wearing both. It’s good for the fans they will also see me with a difference and will surely love me more.” She smiles adding.

How can the soft spoken beautiful looking Madhuri behave strict this time with her contestants in Jhalak Dikhla Ja we quiz? Oh! I am not going to be rude to them, but definitely will never allow them to butter me at all. We have a Lie-O-Meter with us this time. If at all any contestant will try to shower unnecessary praises onto us we will instantly press the button of the buzzer and he/she will have to shut down. We as judges have always been very kind, so this time with a changed judging barometer it will be very tough for any of the contestant to be able to get a ten on ten. This is indeed my formula this time. I will remain soft spoken I do love to be praised I am not going to stop them from praising me ,however they will have to do so while not on the dance floor “ she wings with a smile.

“This season audience will be introduced to some remarkable and different dance forms like Capoeira, Zouk, Bolero and many more from all the corners of the world. I am also learning these dancing steps. It is indeed tough for me. Yes! I am known for my kind of dancing –I have my own mannerisms, steps and the Indian dancing forms which I have always adhered to. Learning the new formula of dancing steps is challenging enough for me and I am enjoying learning as well unlearning what I have always been doing. Change is the spice of life and dancing being my passion I am putting in all my efforts…I am not leaving any stone unturned to show the World –‘Madhuri is also earning to learn’…this phrase is the mantra for our contestants also.”

Adding further to our query she says, “Yes, you can consider me as the veteran in dancing as you ask me so. But those dancing styles are considered ole’ now. WE will also be having Indian dancing styles too.” She smile

Lastly with pride she adds,” Ukarainian Maksim Chmerkovskiy is also joining us as one of the Judges,” This time Jhalak is taking on internationally too, the reach is going to extend. However we have to be welcoming the International judge/dancer to the Indian show. Undoubtedly, he will have to adapt to the Indian norms and ways on par with judging the contestants. He should be prepared to the adaptability conditions of the Indian reality shows. Indeed it will be a learning process for both of us though!!” she concludes.
