Cast finalized for Bhansali's dream project

​The tittle-tattles surrounding the cast of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next directorial project "Bajirao Mastani" has been put to an end. Ranveer Singh is casted for Peshwa Bajirao, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone to play his wives.

Bajirao Mastani is a historical character known for expansion of the Maratha Empire. The story revolves around the love story of Bajirao, his second wife Mastani and his troubled first wife Kashibai.

Known for creating auras of celebration and festivity in movies, Bhansali had been planning to make the film for past 15 years. The film was persistently in the news concerning the cast, revolving around actors Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known to demand total attention of the actors while shooting his films. Ranveer who is praised for experimenting with diverse roles, has been working very hard to meet the directors requirements. He is going bold and is learning Marathi and horse riding to suit the character. The movie is starting in October. All the three stars worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in his Goliyon Ki Raasleela - Ram Leela, an adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.​
