Charmee pins hopes on Mantra 2

While it’s no secret that Charmee’s career is on a downward spiral of late, the actress is giving her best to ‘Mantra 2’. The Punjabi beauty, we hear, has participated in the night schedules – from 9 pm to 5 am – for 20 days at a stretch. “She is the epitome of dedication,” observe producers Srikanth, Souri Reddy and Ravi Teja.

Charmee who plays a software professional in the film, which is over, except for a song and a couple of scenes to be shot, “It’s been seven years since ‘Mantra’ happened and when director Sathish approached me with the script of ‘Mantra 2’, I had no second thoughts about starring in it; it was so compact,” she said.

Director Sathish claims that it’s a horror that was never attempted on Indian cinema before.
