Will Alia be Chetan’s Riya?

While Chetan Bhagat’s Half Girlfriend’s launch is around the corner, speculation is rife in tinsel town regarding who will play Riya, a high-class girl from Delhi, who is the protagonist in the book. While names like girl from Delhi and Huma Qureshi have been doing the rounds for a while, Bollywood is abuzz with the news that director Mohit Suri has set his eyes on his cousin Alia Bhatt for the role. While the director is currently working on the script, it would be interesting to see if indeed Alia, who earlier played Chetan’s Ananya from ‘2 States’ in the film of the same name, will make the cut this time too.
