Daana Veera Soora Karna with child actors

The late NTR-starrer ‘Daana Veera Sooora Karna’ was a legend. The film is still talked about for the way the legendary actor portrayed the roles of Lord Krishna, Karna and Duryodhana. Now, little known director JVR will be making a film on the same subject lines. Titled ‘Daana Veera Soora Karna’, the film, to be produced by K Balaraju and CH Venkateshwara Rao, will star all child actors. K Balaraju said they’ve conducted the talent hunt for child artistes in Hyderabad and Vijayawada in the presence of Alankar theatre owner Krishnarjuna Rao and Jagapathi Rao for the film. “Many enthusiastic and talented child artistes participated in the selection process and we have zeroed in on some children. We will train them for some time before taking the film on to floors,” he said. He further added that they will pull out all stops to ensure the original’s reputation will be tarnished with their attempt.
