But Ritu Varma left the film behind and went forward to sign couple of interesting films. One among them is upcoming flick ‘Yevade Subramanyam’ which stars Nani in the lead. “When the story was narrated to me, I loved it. I play Ria, Subramanyam’s fiancée who is daddy’s little girl,” says Ritu about her role in the film.

There are a couple of films ahead but Ritu is apprehensive to share any details. “I don’t believe in talking about a project before I sign it,” she says with a laugh.A journey of nearly three years in Telugu cinema was amazing for the actress. “It has been a great journey till date. I was initially nervous to act but now the situation has become such that I can’t think of anything else to do,” says the lissome actress.

Before venturing into filmmaking, Ritu was a model and when quizzed which profession she likes more, she replies, “Acting is more fun. You get to different characters and it’s a more challenging job. But once in a while when I go back to the ramp, it definitely feels great,” she shares.And she has got a great sense of style. “At a point in time I wanted to be a stylist though that didn’t work out, fashion has always interested me,” she signs off.
