Unidentified thieves broke into the house of Tollywood director Puri Jagannath at Road No 34 in Jubilee Hills area and made away with gold jewellery worth Rs 15 lakh on Friday. The director lodged a complaint with the Jubilee Hills police. The police, who swung into action after collecting sufficient evidence, took into custody some suspects.

Theft at Ramanaidu Studio
In a related incident, unidentified persons made away with LED lights worth lakhs of rupees from Ramanaidu Studio at Filmnagar on Friday. The studio management filed a complaint with the Jubilee Hills police saying that the miscreants posing as spot boys and unit members fled with the equipment.
