Director Suneel Kumar Reddy who made films like ‘Ganga Putrulu’, ‘Oka Criminal Prema Katha’ and ‘Oka Romantic Crime Katha’ is back with another women-centric film, ‘Miss Leelavathi’.Starring Leelavathi in the titular role, the film, according to the director, traces the relationship between men, women and nature.

“It is a story that has the Hudhud cyclone as a backdrop and is a youthful entertainer,” he adds.When quizzed why he chose a women-centric concept, he replies, “If you observe my work, all my films touch some or the other subject related to women issues and that’s the same thing here too,” he says, adding, “Majority of the environmental problems are due to men and there’s a take on that too.”

Sunil says that the concept of infidelity is an important ingredient of ‘Miss Leelavathi’. “We have seen many films that dealt with the concept but every film always victimises a wife and blames the other woman. But my film looks at the whole thing from the other woman’s perspective,” he explains.His lead actor Leelavathi is the film’s USP, says Sunil, adding, “She has both an emotional and glamourous side which she has portrayed with ease.”
