Allu ArjunMedia boycotts the actor’s interaction about his birthday plans and ‘S/o Satyamurthy’ after he made them wait for nearly 85 minutes. What’s worse is he failed to regret his act

He might be a star who is adored by lakhs of fans but Allu Arjun must know the importance of keeping his time. The actor who convened a print media interaction on Wednesday at Geetha Arts office in Hyderabad to speak about his Thursday release ‘S/o Satyamurthy’ never turned up, much to the chagrin of journalists, including this correspondent.

Going into the details, the actor who was supposed to drop by the office at 1 pm was not spotted till 2.25 pm (the time at which media left). When the peeved journalists enquired about his whereabouts at around 2 pm, his PR wing replied that he was having lunch at his home, which is located at a stone’s throw away from his office, and that he would start to the office soon after that. However, he didn’t turn up and upon enquiring again, the PR machinery said that Trivikram had visited the actor’s house and that the duo were discussing about the latter’s Twitter debut on Wednesday – which happens to be his birthday.

Irate journalists had enough of the exasperation caused by the PR machinery and left the venue at 2.24 pm. Though the PR wing extended an apology later, we did expect Stylish star to regret his actions, but to our surprise – till the time we’ve gone for print – he didn’t (well, well, well). Well, you may be lecturing about principles in your films, but you should at least know to extend an apology when you made others kill time Mr Allu Arjun.
