Cherry is the producer. Here’s a development related to the much awaited comeback flick of Megastar Chiranjeevi. While we had reported earlier that Puri Jagannadh is set to direct this venture, it is learnt that Nayantara is tipped to play the leading lady.
Chiru’s 150th film will be launched on August 22 which is his birthday. The film will go to floors from September 2 which is his younger brother Pawan Kalyan’s birthday
Here’s a development related to the much awaited comeback flick of Megastar Chiranjeevi. While we had reported earlier that Puri Jagannadh is set to direct this venture, it is learnt that Nayantara is tipped to play the leading lady. Ram Charan will be producing the movie while Bandla Ganesh will oversee the production.

Taking to Facebook, the excited actor shared the news about his father’s comeback flick: “YES It's true!!! finally dad has decided.Mega star's 150th movie director is Puri Jaganath.Excited!!!#chiru150 (sic).”
Writer BVS Ravi who has penned the film’s script seemed emotional as he wrote, “Super excited,highly emotional 2 get d nod from #Megastar n its my most fav director #PuriJagannath produced by #Ramcharan #Chiru150 (sic).”
The same could be said about Puri Jagannadh who wrote in reference to himself: “Long ago, a guy used to decorate theatres which screened Chiranjeevi’s movies. What did he know that one fine day he would direct his 150th film? God bless him,” posted Puri on his social networking pages.
Twitter saw #chiru150 trending across India for a good part on Monday as excited fans kept discussing about the actor-turned-politician’s comeback venture.
Tentatively titled ‘Auto Johnny’, the film will be launched on August 22, Chiru’s birthday. The shooting is expected to begin on September 2, Pawan Kalyan’s birthday. The makers are planning for a Sankranthi 2016 release. Devi Sri Prasad will score tunes.
