Speaking about the film, Kalyan said, “It is Varun’s first mass film. It is an actioner laced with the mother sentiment. The principal photography will commence from Thursday and from July 21 it will be shot in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. We are planning to hit the screens this Dasara.”
Varun, who will be romancing newbie Disha Patani in the film, expressed his happiness over collaborating with Puri very early in his career. “The film will be a turning point in my career,” he said. Also starring Revathy, Brahmanandam, Posani Krishna Murali, Mukesh Rishi and Uttej in supporting roles, the film will have musical renditions by Sunil Kashyap.
