Co-produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Eros Now, the movie has been in the news since a few years owing to the casting. Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai supposedly were to do the movie after 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' but the film got delayed and the cast changed. After several years of delay, Sanjay Leela Bhansali cast the 'Ram Leela' jodi - Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone along with Priyanka Chopra in his ambitious project - 'Bajirao Mastani'.
The film is scheduled to release in theaters on the same day when Shah Rukh Khan- Kajol starrer 'Dilwale' releases in cinemas i.e. December 18. Watch the trailer here.
