Playback singer Vissamraju Ramakrishna final rites today
Tollywood film industry plunged into grief following the demise of popular playback singer Vissamraju Ramakrishna,who was battling cancer for the last few months. He passed away on Wednesday night at Venkatagiri hospital in Jubilee hills.
Tollywood film industry plunged into grief following the demise of popular playback singer Vissamraju Ramakrishna,who was battling cancer for the last few months. He passed away on Wednesday night at Venkatagiri hospital in Jubilee hills. He was 68. He is survived by his actor son Sai kiran, daughter Lekha and wife. He is a close relative of veteran playback singer P Suseela.

Vissamraju debuted as a singer with 'Vayase Oka Poolathota' in Vichitra Bandham. In a span of three decades, Rama krishna sung more than 5000 songs. Several film celebrities and politicians condoled his death. Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav condoled the death of Ramakrishna. YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said the void left by the singer is hard to fill.
The final rites of Ramakrishna will be performed today.
