NTR’s son Abhay Ram will be turning one today and the doting father is pulling out all stops to ensure that the day is celebrated on a memorable note, according to a source close to the actor. Though he is miles away – shooting in London – for his yet-to-be-titled next with Sukumar, the actor has asked his family members to join him.

The source shares, “Initially NTR wanted to celebrate Abhay’s birthday at his home in Hyderabad but with Sukumar and his team changing the shooting schedules in the last minute, he aborted his plan. His family – mother, mother-in-law, wife Lakshmi Pranathi along with the toddler – has left to London and a grand party is organised to usher in the occasion. A cake costing Rs 3.5 lakh has been ordered and NTR will be treating his co-stars and crew too.”
When contacted, NTR’s manager Raj Kumar, also his uncle, confirmed the development. “Yes, the family has flown to London and a cake worth Rs 3.5 lakh will be cut to mark the event. NTR wanted to celebrate the birthday in Hyderabad by inviting people who are close to him but since the film already got delayed, he decided to stay back.”
