Will Chiru reveal 150th film on b’day?

One of the most-awaited dates in Telugu film industry is August 22, when Megastar will be celebrating his birthday at the Gachibowli Stadium. Looking at the kind of work going into his birthday celebrations and the venue, one can easily guess the ever-green popularity that actor Chiranjeevi enjoys.

The fans are also hoping that their Demi-God will announce his 150th film during the celebrations. One thing that has been confirmed is that the 150th film is not going to be a Puri Jagannath’s film. Because, in an interview to a television channel he said, “I didn't like second half of the story narrated by Puri Jagannath.”

He further said that he will finalise the movie in 2-3 months. It is widely known, however, that Puri had registered a title ‘Auto Johnny’ with the Film Chamber for the milestone film.

The other name that is being heard a lot is that of VV Vinayak. Evidently, the Megastar hopes to make the right choice for his landmark film and he wants it to be a mass and commercial entertainer with a social message.

Meanwhile, there is buzz around Charan’s film, ‘Merupu’, directed by Sreenu Vaitla that might have a cameo of Chiranjeevi. One tends to think of the brief yet delightful appearance he makes in the remix rendition of “Bangaaru Kodi Petta’ for the film, ‘Magadheera’.
