The much awaited flick of superstar Kamal Haasan, ‘Cheekati Rajyam’ was released worldwide on Friday. The eve of the release had an exclusive preview show at IMAX, which was attended by prominent politicians and film personalities.

Speaking after the preview, Minister of IT and Panchayat Raj KT Rama Rao said, “What a thrilling experience. I enjoyed it! Kamal Haasan was amazing and watching the movie with him was more fun for me.”

In addition to the cast and crew of the movie, Rajyasabha member T Subbirami Reddy along with Amala Akkineni, actors Rana Daggubati, Nikhil, Rahul Ravindran and Director Maruthi, actress Rakul Preeth Singh, Regina and ‘Size Zero’ movie director KS Prakash Rao along with his wife Kanika attended the celebrity preview show.

Rajyasabha member T Subbirami Reddy commented, “Compared to the previous movies of Kamal Haasan this movie is a different one and has thrilling elements.”

Expressing his thoughts on the movie, lead actor Kamal Haasan said, “This film will leave the Telugu audience excited. It’s is a fast face thriller and very entertaining.”

“Cheekati Rajyam is mind blowing. Kamal Hasan proved himself once again. Director Selva did an amazing job. Though Trisha was seen for less time, she performed well. Telugu people will like this film,” said actor Rana Daggubati.

Budding actress Rakul Preeth Singh, whose favourite actor is Kamal Haasan quipped, “The movie won my heart with many thrilling elements. Brilliant action elements!”

Directed by Rajesh M Selva and co-produced by Rajkamal Films International and Sri Gokulam Movies, the movie stars Trisha and Madhu Shalini in lead roles along with Prakash Raj.
