A source said, “Anirudh has been extremely busy of late with tours and other Tamil commitments. Despite the makers of ‘A... Aa’ asking him to make time for the recording sessions, he didn’t. Eventually they had no choice but to replace him.”
When contacted, the film’s spokesperson said, “Yes, Mickey has replaced Anirudh. The makers are targeting an April release and they want all the songs to be ready as soon as possible. Not even a single track has been recorded till now.”
This is not the first instance that Anirudh, a sensation in Tamil, has lost a plum Telugu project. He was supposed to render tunes for Ram Charan-starrer ‘Bruce Lee’ but he exited in the last minute over unknown reasons.
