Chiru to undergo shoulder surgery 

Megastar Chiranjeevi will undergo a shoulder surgery at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Thursday. The actor, we hear, has been suffering from a shoulder ailment since long and decided it’s time he goes under the knife.

“The shoulder has been bothering him from a long time. He wanted to operate it sometime back itself but, since he couldn’t make time, he decided to do it now as he felt that it might trouble him during the shooting of ‘Kaththi’ remake, which requires him to indulge in some heavy-duty action.

His wife, Surekha is by his side. He is required to take a rest of two weeks following the operation,” confirmed a source close to Chiru. Already prepping up for ‘Kaththi’ remake, Chiru will start shooting for it in late March or early April.

To be directed by VV Vinayak, it will be a joint venture between Ram Charan and Lyca Productions, which produced the original.
