The film is slated for 22 April 2016 all over India,the subject revolves around a young guy called Dheeraj who is employed and in love with a girl called Payal who is the daughter of a rich father, who is against his daughter having a relationship with the boy. The girl elopes and gets married to Dheeraj against the wishes of her father. One day Payal falls ill and when admitted to the hospital, Dheeraj is told that he would have to arrange Rs 15 lakhs to treat her since she was ailing from brain tumour.
Dheeraj desperately needs money and meets his college friend Monty who is married to a rich girl Monika. Monty is ready to give money to Dheeraj on one condition. In the meanwhile Monika is found dead and Dheeraj is arrested for her ‘murder’. What happens later? Is Dheeraj released? What is the condition of Monty? Does Payal get well? To get the answers to these questions, you have to watch ‘Aakhri Sauda -The Last Deal’.
It is the maiden venture as a producer of not only of Mukesh Malhotra who had earlier made two serials-‘ Karmkshetra’ and ‘Pasand Apni Apni’ but also Padmakar Athawale. Both aver that they did not set out to make their film with big stars because they didn’t have the budget and decided that it was better to back talented new faces rather than pay huge amounts to stars and run after them for their dates. They add, “A film runs not because of the stars but because of the story, direction and music, which our film does boast of.”
Sandeep Kumar who is the son of director Kalidas who had earlier produced as well as directed films like Half Ticket, Bheegi Raat and Isika naam Zindagi Hai, and the nephew of actor Pradeep Kumar. Sandeep Kumar had earlier directed films like Ek Hi Bhool and Love You Crazy Girl and the TV serial Sai Bhaktonki Sachi Kahaniyaan. Talking about ‘Aakhri Sauda-The Last Deal’, Sandeep Kumar says that the film which has a different story is embellished by wonderful performances of both the heroes as well as the heroine. The highlight of the film, which he says is a hard core love story written with blood according to him, is the court room drama. The film also boasts of five catchy and melodious songs.
The film which has been made under the banner of Silver 9 Movies by producers Mukesh Malhotra and Padmakar Athawale has been written and directed by Sandeep Kumar. The film stars Aryan Chopra, Zuber K Khan (of the Balaji serial Kasam fame) , Tanvi Arora, Soniya, Pooja, Mushtaq Khan, Ehsaan Khan, Nirmal, Dev Malhotra,Neetu Singh etc. The film which has music by Raja Ali, art direction by Amrick Singh and cinematography by Sharma is slated for release all over India on 22 April 2016.
