Mahesh to visit Siddhapur next week

Hyderabad: Actor Mahesh Babu will be visiting Siddhapur, the Mahbubnagar village that he had adopted to develop it into a "smart village" next week. Speaking at Burripalem village in Guntur district which has also been adopted by him, Mahesh Babu said the main aim of adopting the villages in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh was to focus on issues like education, health and sanitation.

It may be recalled that Namrata, wife of Mahesh Babu, had visited Siddhapur village recently and promised to see that the village gets all basic amenities as promised by Mahesh Babu while adopting the village. She had even gone around the village and interacted with the people to identify the problems. Namrata had announced that health camps would be held once every three months and promised to speak to the District Collector and see that all grievances were redressed.
