Lakshmi forays into food business

Actor Mohan Babu inaugurated the first branch of the Junior Kuppanna restaurant franchise in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The actor’s son-in-law Andy Srinivasan owns the Hyderabad’s branch of the famous Chennai-based food chain. Mohan Babu exclaimed how it has always been his dream to start a five-star hotel but dropped it on his father’s advice to open a school.

“Nonetheless, I’m finally realising my dream, thanks to my daughter Lakshmi and son-in-law Andy. I’m happy that Andy has chosen the Junior Kuppanna franchise. I assure everyone that the food served at Kupanna will be chemical-free.”

Expressing her happiness of introducing Junior Kuppanna to Hyderabad, Lakshmi said, “People of Chennai and Bengaluru are well-aware of Kuppanna. Whenever I visit Bengaluru, I ensure to make a halt at Kuppanna’s.

Since the owner of the franchise is a good friend of mine, getting an outlet in Hyderabad was not of any hassle,” she said, laughing. The entire Mohan Babu clan Vishnu along with wife Viranica and children and Manoj along with wife Pranathi were present at the occasion.
