Looks like Rana Daggubati’s wish of teaming up with his superstar uncle Venkatesh will be a reality soon. Director Ravikanth Perepu, who made everyone sit up and take notice his talent with ‘Kshanam’, is working towards fleshing out a script which will bring both the stars from the esteemed Daggubati family together.
“Ravikanth had pitched a line to both Rana and Venky recently. While the former endorsed it pronto, the latter, despite liking it, suggested some changes. The director has reworked on it six times till now and if Venky, who is very severe about changes, gives his thumbs up, the film will go on floors later this year,” confirmed a source close to Suresh Productions, the production house which will bankroll it.
The source added that the film will be on new age relationships. “Ravikanth is designing the script imagining a complete makeover to both the stars. He knows he has 50-50 chance to bag the project but is hopeful to pull it off.”
