PK springs a surprise

Even as ‘Katamarayudu’ is on sets, Pawan Kalyan on Dasara sprung a surprise by participating in the muhurat of his next with producer AM Ratnam in Hyderabad. Although murmurs about their collaboration have been doing rounds for the past six months, it is now confirmed that Pawan indeed said yes to the producer with whom he shares a very cordial relation, having starred in his films like ‘Kushi’ and ‘Bangaram’ last decade.

While the muhurat was a low-key affair, the makers haven’t disclosed whether the film is a remake of Tamil monster hit ‘Vedalam’ which Ratnam produced. However, sources confirm that it’s indeed a remake of ‘Vedalam’ but as Pawan’s under-shoot film too is a remake of Ajith-starrer ‘Veeram’, they didn’t felt like announcing it at this juncture.

Apparently we hear that director RT Neason has tailored the script to suit Pawan’s persona. Actor-turned-writer Harshvardhan is on board to pen dialogues. Pawan was supposed to team up with good friend Trivikram after he wraps up ‘Katamarayudu’ but as things stands now, the word of wizard’s project may take time. But with PK, you never know, right?
