Surabhi to romance Sirish

In what is a development, which indicates that his sci-fi drama with Allu Sirish is clearly on track, director Vi Anand has roped in ‘Express Raja’ girl Surabhi to be the film’s leading lady.

“Anand considered many names and finally approached Surabhi for the part. Her role has equal importance to that of Sirish. As it is a genre-based film, something which she hasn’t done in her career till now besides it providing her ample scope to perform, Surabhi jumped at the offer,” said a source close to the development.

He added, “Also, she loved Anand’s earlier film ‘Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada’ and the way he presented Hebah Patel and Nandita Swetha.”
The yet-to-be-titled film is likely to roll shortly.
