Chiranjeevi to promote Ganta Ravi
Megastar Chiranjeevi will be reportedly attending the pre-release event of `Jayadev’ featuring debutant actor Ganta Ravi in the lead. According to sources close to the unit, AP Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao wanted Chiranjeevi to be the chief guest of the pre-release event to be held on June 20 or 21 to give a boost to the gripping cop story which launches his son as hero in T-town.

“Although, names of few other big stars were discussed, but Minister insisted on Chiranjeevi to make it a grand gala event and help the film to draw good openings since the remake of Tamil hit film is slated for release this June-end,” says the source.
It is known that Chiranjeevi and Ganta Srinivasa Rao have been friends for quite a long time and even the families are close to each other. Apparently, Ganta rightly felt that a few words of appreciation from Chiru prior-to-the-release could attract mega fans.
